Our fishing season usually begins by the end of May and finishes the end of September. It is highly recommended to book your charter early to reserve that date you want. You can reserve your charter for the upcoming fishing season now by calling  920.793.1053 or by completing our Contact Us form.

Do I need a fishing license?

Yes, you need a Wisconsin fishing license with Great Lakes Salmon and Trout Stamp, or a two-day Wisconsin fishing license (you don't need a salmon or trout stamp). Age requirement for a fishing license is 16 years and older. Buy your fishing license online here or there are local businesses that sell them. We do not provide fishing licenses.

I've never been on a charter - How does this work?

The captain and crew will operate the boat and fishing equipment and when a fish strikes, the captain or first mate will take the rod out of the holder and hand it to the customer. The crew will guide you on how to reel in your fish. A $100 cancellation deposit is required at time of booking. When you call to book your charter, you will be asked the date you wish to go and whether you would like morning or afternoon, the number of people going, and a phone number the captain can reach you. Your deposit can be taken by providing your credit card information, or by sending a check. Upon receipt of your deposit, your charter is booked! Depending on your preference, you will be either emailed or physically mailed a confirmation with all the information regarding your charter.

Your assigned captain will then give you a call about a couple of days prior to your booked charter to make arrangements to meet and confirm everything.  After your charter is complete, the captain and crew will then clean and package your prize trophy fish! Then you pay your captain with either cash or check. Inclement weather does happen, high winds are the biggest reason a captain would cancel a trip for safety reasons. If your charter is cancelled, we will do everything we can to reschedule your charter. In the event we are unable to reschedule your charter, your deposit will be refunded. What is suggested to bring?

Warm clothes, rain gear if rain is forecasted, soft sole shoes, snacks and beverages, a large cooler to bring your catch home, camera, sunglasses, and sun block.

Does motion sickness happen?

Motion sickness does happen, everyone is different. There are over-the-counter medications to take to avoid this from happening. Please read the directions and take the medications as the directions state.

How long are charters?

We offer 5, 8, and 10 hour charters, morning or afternoon, 7 days per week. The distance traveled to fish all depends on where the fish are located.

What if it rains?

If it rains, all boats have hard tops, so there is shelter. Please remember to bring rain gear with you if rain is forecasted.

What can I be prepared to catch?

The catch depends on what is biting. We have caught king salmon, coho salmon, rainbow trout (steelhead), brown trout, and lake trout.

I fish and already have my own stuff; can I bring my own fishing gear?

All of our gear is unique to our fishing boats, so your gear will not work with our setups. We have commercial grade equipment, so it can handle the strenuous use.

Should you tip the crew?

Gratuity is always appreciated, the crew works very hard regardless if the fish are biting or not and is only paid with your generous tips. Happy customers usually tip about $20 per person.
